There is far too much to say here. Malaysia was my 3rd trip to Asia and much less challenging than the stifling heat and claustrophobia of Bangkok or the constant hassle of Saigon. No need to learn and stumble with any language but English. Relatively well organised (at least in KLL), and full of contrasts and cultures existing side-by-side but not integrating. Not quite the hostility and mistrust which I had read about in Anthony Burgess, but I could see a degree of inequality which Weikiong had told me about and which now Cyrus is experiencing once again now he is back there.
